Performing a Command for a List Item

To Select a List Grid Row and Perform a Command for the List Item:

  1. Select the row within the list grid for the item that you want to work with.

A row of command buttons displayed above the grid allow you to start performing specific work functions for the selected list item using a subsequent eAIM screen.  Once selected, a grid row is displayed as highlighted, and, as applicable, the command buttons for that item are activated or deactivated (grayed out).  The selected list item’s filing or effective status affects the availability of functions and associated command buttons:  Command buttons are displayed as active/inactive (grayed) depending on the availability of the specific function for the selected filing.

  1. Click the command button for the function that you want to perform.

eAIM performs the command, displaying the screen or dialog box for the selected command.
